Vállalkozás adatai
István Taródi, approaching his twentieth year, started building his first castle in 1945, on his parents' plot. It was an eight-meter-high wooden castle that he assembled from used wooden materials. He finished construction in 1946, when he got married. He decided that if he succeeds in buying a plot in Lövérek, he will demolish the wooden castle and now rebuild it on his own plot. 1951. on the first of May, he bought the property on which the castle now stands, and soon moved the wooden castle to it. He covered the building with shingles made from diced waste boards. From the end of the 1950s, and especially in the 60s, he went on several large cross-country bicycle tours, partly with his children (his longest tour was 1,500 kilometers long). Their main goal was to visit castles and study medieval castle architecture. In the fall of 1959, István Taródi decided to replace the wooden castle with a stone castle, and he dug the foundations of the living area during the winter.
