Hármashatár-hill

Business Details
The Hármashatár hill is the central, 495-meter-high ridge of the rock group located between the Ördög ditch, the Danube valley, the Solymári valley and the Pesthidegkúti basin in the north-northeastern part of the Buda Mountains.

The Hármashatár-hegy is covered with nummulitic limestone, built mostly of dolomite, and is highlighted on one side. In its northeastern part, Vihar-hegy almost merges with it. The mountain has been raised by structural movements, and in some places it is bordered by stepped, forested slopes. The eastern slope of the mountain leading down to the Danube is particularly steep. In this part, within a distance of 2 km, there is a height difference of more than 400 meters, which is the largest in the mountains. In the lower part of this steep slope, stretching between the Solymári Valley and the Kiscelli Plateau, there is a terrace-like plateau built of Kiscelli clay, which slopes towards the Danube and is covered with loess and slope debris.
