Thermal lake and eco park

The main treasure of Zalakaros Fürdőváros is the bubbling thermal water rich in minerals. Today, the spa and the services built around it are an integral part of the life of the entire city. Until now, the thermal water has only served bathing, the comfort, healing and relaxation of the spa guests, but with the city's latest investment, the runoff water now feeds an artificially created lake, and this thermal lake, with the leisure park built around it, provides a new, exciting opportunity for relaxation. The thermal lake itself has a water surface of approximately 12,900 m2, its deepest point is 1.8 m. The children's favorite is the lakeside playground, where they can enjoy the pleasures provided by the sandbox, saucer swing, carousel, climbing frame and wooden house, while a small stream meanders between them. Continuing the walk, the braver ones can try the the science of walking on water with the help of the water walker created on the thermal road. The course is built on the shallow parts and consists of concrete elements, which ensure safe play with their non-slip surface. The two shores of the lake are connected by a bridge, with the island in the middle, where you can relax for a few minutes and enjoy the view over the lake. From the far end of the bridge, we reach the meditation pavilion of lights. There are wooden columns of different sizes on the four sides of the space under the roof, so the sun always shines through some gap, and if you watch for a long time, the light strips slowly change continuously, following the apparent movement of the sun. With the help of the layout, the effect of the Earth's rotation becomes visible. If walking around the lake - and running after the children - wasn't enough, you can also work out your muscles in the outdoor fitness park. Each machine comes with an instruction manual, as well as which part of the body is affected by the given movement. In the park, you can try out a waist training machine, leg muscle strengthening, arm training, cross-country skiing, walking, shoulder joint healing, massaging and commuting machines.
