Erzsébet bridge is one of Budapest's road bridges over the Danube, which connects District V with District I. The (old) Erzsébet bridge, which has stood in the same place since 1903, was blown up by the retreating German troops in January 1945, and the cable-stayed bridge built in its place, 10 meters wider, was handed over in 1964.

The drainage openings in the cross-supporting elements of the pylons project a reversed, colored image of the traffic below onto the inner side walls using the camera obscura principle.
